Class rules are presented in a work in progress form and may be subject to further amendments or clarifications. The spirit of the technical ruleset is to balance fairness and cost, which will allow a maximum specification of car to the rules. This means you are free to run an essentially standard Suzuki Swift and complete modifications as budget allows. As the class progresses, we may need to clarify any grey areas that will be at the discretion of the event co-ordinators.

Eligibility will be at the sole discretion of the event co-ordinators and any enquires regarding eligibility should be referred to the Palmside NZ. It will be the competitors' responsibility to ensure that their car is correct as per the rules above. A compliance audit can be completed on any car at any time and if a car is found to have modifications that differ from the above ruleset they may be withdrawn from the event. An exemption to the technical rules may be considered at the sole discretion of the organisers at initial trial events during 2026 if the car is found to be within the spirit of the class. This will not be carried over once the series is established and a ruleset confirmed.
